I always have fun taking pictures because I LOVE people. Now and again while on photo shoots, I have experiences that I truly cherish... This was one. I had the incredible opportunity to meet Bill, age 88 and his lovely wife, Lucy, age 90, who have been married 66 years. Watching the way they treated each other, looked at each other brought such a warm feeling... The instant you meet them, you love them. They are the parents of a sweet lady that taught my children piano lessons, Monte! Monte’s darling daughter, Alicia, set up this shoot to get a four-generation photo... her adorable daughter happens to be named after her grandmother and great-grandmother. Raylynne at Serenity Springs was so accommodating to let us do a photo shoot there. Thank you! ...and thank you, Alicia, for giving me the opportunity to meet your grandparents!

Awesome pictures, Faun. I love Monte, she taught my three oldest piano as well. Sweet and tender moments.
I have a four generation picture with my mother, grandmother and great grandmother as well....I have always cherished it. You are engaged in a great work Faun, preserving memories through your amazing work. I know that young girl will love these pictures....well done!
Beautiful!! We love that family too. Bill & Lucy are grandpa and grandma to us and we love that when people meet them they immediately know what incredible people they are, a wonderful example to all of us.
Great work!

Beautiful! What a timeless treasure these pictures will be for their families! Great job Faun, as usual. But really, these are precious!
What a precious keepsake!! And so suprising to see my cousin in this photo!!! Love Monty!!!! It's such a small world.
Thank you all for the lovely comments. They truly make my day! I think these images have brought some emotions to the surface in a lot of us... we all are wishing we had some photos like these with our grandmothers and grandfathers. I know I do! It also makes you realize you need to NOT put off these very important things because that moment of time can be lost forever. Sweet Lucy had had a very bad day the day before the shoot, the day of, she was amazing! The day after, she was again struggling with her health. It was a tender mercy that she had a good day, that we were able to document a fond moment in time that will not be forgotten. I am grateful to have been a part in that.
Hey! Gary and Monte--my cousins!
