This is a post I did 2 years ago...Vicky is one of my very dearest friends... She is the kind of friend that I can totally be myself around and she likes me anyway! It makes my day to simply hear her voice on the phone.

I am re-posting it again today, with hopes that you will all send a prayer sweet Vicky's way. She has been valiantly and very bravely fighting cancer for a little over five years. Vicky is a genuine, kind, very generous woman with a great sense of humor and a big heart. I have learned a lot from her example. I wish I could give back a little of what she has given me the past eleven plus years that I've known her. Vicky is a very special person to me and so many people...
...a prayer for she and her beautiful family would be much appreciated. I love her.

I am sadden to hear the Vicky passed away on July 30th, 2011. May God rest her soul. She was truly a beautiful person.
