Jay & Heather - Engagements!

The awesome thing about this job is it never gets boring!  The variables change with each and every shoot making it a problem solving job at times...  I cannot duplicate one shoot because I never know what I'm going to get.   Magically some amazing rolls of hay covered with a beautiful color appear in a field up the street... makes me think of giant spools across the ground.  FUN FUN FUN!  ... no two shoots are alike.
I had so much fun with this darling couple!!!   I love hearing "their story" and this one was cool because their paths had crossed while growing up but then never met until they both attended BYU.  Jay and Heather grew up on farms so the hay photos are significant to both.  Heather teaches 6th grade so we had fun shooting with the old school bus (Thanks again, Michael!)!  It was difficult choosing just a few to post...  LOVE this shoot!   Congratulations, you two!

He asked her to marry him playing his guitar and singing!  Ahhhhhh....

One of their favorite songs.... such great lyrics...

I LOVE doing ENGAGEMENTS so MUCH!

Foutz Family

This is the nicest family...  Connie is one of those people that truly cares about everyone... she's just a sweetheart!   Her husband, Don, is the owner of the fabulous Internet Service I use...  Anyway, they have two great, good-looking kids and we had a great time shooting in spite of a cold/flu raging in my head!  Hope I didn't share any germs!  ;o)

It's a bus wreck!

Mark & Jessica - Wedding Day!

Beautiful bride, handsome groom, stunning surroundings... what a day for a wedding!  Perfection!
Have a wonderful life you two!  It has been a pleasure getting to know you!
Remember when I took their engagements?  LOVE the Coke ones so much!

When I was taking this photo, I was quite far away from Mark... I knew this was the moment he would see Jessica come around the corner in her beautiful wedding dress.  Later, at home, when I came in close to see his expression, I have to say... it made my day!  This guy is so in-love with his beautiful bride; the look on his face says it all.  She took his breath away!  It is one of the sweetest moments I have ever caught on camera!  Beautiful violin and guitar music played the theme song from "Beauty and the Beast" as Jessica walked out... those are the words I have put through this photo.  This was the moment that Mark saw his beauty!
